THUNDER (RHINO)
Thunder is truly young in spirit. He takes great joy in things as simple as chasing butterflies, racing worms and showing off his world-famous ‘Thumpa-thumpa’ dance. He lives in the moment, reacting to situations more often than initiating them. He’s usually quite happy to go with the flow.
Thunder loves all of his friends, but as Hazel is often confusingly busy, he most often plays with Rabbit, Mouse, and the Gibble Girls. As long as he’s not being left out, he’ll play any game they like!
Thunder may be a touch naïve, but he’s certainly not dumb. In fact, he has a knack for asking questions in a way that might sound simple or even silly – but in fact it’s downright wise.
Physically, Thunder is the second biggest of the group. His larger size and weight comes in pretty handy when his friends need someone to boost them up or ‘stomp’ something, but he doesn’t use his strength unless someone asks him to. His horn can be a useful tool as well.
