MOUSE

“Oh, my quivering whiskers!”

For such a small creature, there are a lot of things about Mouse that are big. He loves big gestures, big statements and things that are a big deal. He’s melodramatic!!! Everything is just TOO MUCH!

Mouse is a charming and loyal friend – and also a bit fussy. He’s rather dainty about water and doesn’t appreciate getting wet. He’s also very careful that no one steps on his tail. Another quirk is that he has a ‘blankie’ he sleeps with – a piece of moss named Mossy. Of course no one makes fun of him for these quirks, it’s just who he is.

Where Rabbit is a ‘doer’, Mouse is a ‘thinker’ – he’s naturally more cautious than his bigger, stronger friend. Mouse often hesitates on the edge of an exciting activity, especially if he’s never done it before. But even when Mouse’s whiskers DO start to quiver in that way that means things are about to get interesting, Rabbit always manages to convince Mouse to join in.

Mouse’s approach to life is much like a kid squinting through his fingers as the rollercoaster climbs to the top of the hill. He’s a little anxious about what’s about to happen, but WHOO! What a ride!
