I LOVE "Jane and the Dragon"! I was wondering how big the castle is, and how much land around the castle belongs to the King?

The castle is very big, and we haven’t shown all its rooms yet. The Kingdom of Kipernia itself is quite small; in today’s measurement it's only a few thousand hectares, which is much smaller than even the smallest state in the U.S.

How much research did you have to do for "Jane and the Dragon"? I love the show and so do my two best friends.

We did a huge amount of research. Luckily there is a lot of wonderful and very detailed knowledge about the period. The real challenge is to stay true to the facts of the era while allowing a castle society to behave a little differently than it really would have back then, simply because life was pretty tough on children. Disease was common, and stories about illness and hard times aren’t a great deal of fun.
