Can’t find the qubo Channel broadcast signal?
The nation’s transition to 100% digital broadcasting occurred on June 12, 2009. That means that all households located in markets served by a local ION Television station are now able to view the qubo Channel 24 hours a day via broadcast tv. If you live in an ION Television market and are unable to tune into qubo Channel, please try the following:
1) Re-scan for channels on your digital tv or set-top converter’s tuner. If you are unsure where to find this function, look in your device’s setup menu. The command is usually labeled as “automatically scan for channels.”
Many stations have moved the location of their transmitters due to the digital transition and your tuner needs to find where those frequencies have relocated.
For most viewers, this will be sufficient to restore the signal. However, if your local station is experiencing technical difficulties at the time you perform your channel scan, your tuner will skip past the channel positions for ION and qubo and it will not be possible to tune to us. In the event this occurs, we suggest you wait an hour or two for the local station engineers to complete their signal maintenance and re-scan again.
2) Check the signal strength from your antenna and if necessary, move or re-orient it.
Analog broadcast tuners were more forgiving of weak signals. Before June 12, 2009, those stations would come in with “snow” or” ghosts.” While digital television will provide a crystal clear picture for the majority of stations in your market, weak signals will no longer be visible.

3) Contact your local ION Television station.
