BG is short for Big Girl -- and that's exactly what this 8-year-old thinks she is! Bold and self-confident, BG's curious about everything around her and plunges head-on into adventures and escapades. She's a natural leader amongst her friends, even though she can be slightly bossy at times. Stubborn and impetuous, once BG gets an idea in her head, nothing will shake it loose. And her impulsive nature often gets her and her friends into scrapes as well. Good thing BG's fast on her feet, ‘cause her creative thinking generally gets them out of sticky situations in the nick of time.

She's a fiercely loyal friend to Gad and Alex, and protective of her little brother George, who looks up to her. This responsibility both flatters and irks BG, who adores George but can lose patience with him too – especially when he insists on playing with her and her ‘grownup' friends all the time. But BG's a good big sister and always tempers her impatience with bursts of kindness to George. She really does love him.

BG's worst annoyance is her snobby neighbor, Brittany-Ann, a spoiled girly-girl who is constantly on BG's case.
